GradComD Alumnae win American Graphic Design Awards
Simin Li, Mona Bagla, and Abha Anand were each honored.
Simin Li, a graduate from the class of 2013, received the "American Graphic Design Award" from Graphic Design USA, for her "aurea eco-cosmetic" package design.
Mona Bagla, also from the class of 2013, has received the "American Graphic Design Award" from Graphic Design USA, for her book titled "krsna", done in Color Workshop.
Abha Anand has also taken home an award for her typographic poster, "Valdrada."
The American Graphic Design Awards is a four decade old flagship competition, and is open to everyone in the graphic arts community ‒ graphic design firms, advertising agencies, in house corporate and institutional designers, publishers and other media. Each year, roughly 1,000 pieces representing all media are showcased in the printed Design Annual and online here.
