Kate is a senior interaction designer for marthastewart.com, New York City. She began her career in newspaper/newsweekly design and has formerly held positions in content strategy, interaction design, and information architecture at NYC agencies Addison, Siegel + Gale, and Carpenter Group. Clients include Smith Barney, Merrill Lynch, Lehman Brothers, and MetLife. She has taught communication design fundamentals and basic typography at Carnegie Mellon.

Kate teaches in the MS Communications Design program.
