SocialChorus seeking an Interactive Designer to help create the next
wave of social technologies that better enable brands to reach
influencers on the Web. We are a hybrid company: part digital agency,
part software-as-service company. We develop social media strategies
for Fortune 500 brands (including the design and production of digital
assets). Very collaborative start-up with offices in San Francisco and
New York (candidates must be willing to relocate to SF).

Job Description
As a key part of the creative team, you will be responsible for
forging the next level of creative for Social Chorus and its clients.
You will help create compelling interactive and social experiences for
consumers online. Help conceptualize and design digital
communications; user-friendly websites and rich media including but
not limited to banners, microsites, jump pages, email campaigns,
Facebook pages & ads, and web-based applications to be consistent with overall campaign components.

Responsibilities
• Work with Creative team to design and develop interactive social campaigns
• Work with Technology team to understand the capabilities and
requirements of our platform
• Ensure a high quality approach to usability, interface design and
information architecture
• Work with developers and programmers to ensure designs are
technologically sound
• Development and implementation of design of innovative digital
communications in social
• Consistency of client brands’ look and messaging throughout all communications

Qualifications
• 1-2 years prior experience as a designer within an agency setting or
working in a professional digital environment
• Strong graphic design ability and a portfolio to prove it
• Should have a solid presence on multiple social networks
• Excellent understanding of composition, color, imagery and typography
• Solid understanding of user experience issues
• Adobe Creative Suite including Photoshop, Illustrator and Dreamweaver
• In depth knowledge of CSS/HTML is a plus. Proficiency with Mac and
PC environments
• Must be detail-oriented, self-motivated and intellectually curious
• Must be willing to learn and explore new technologies
