Bret Hansen

Bret has more than fifteen years of design, advertising and publishing experience. Currently, he leads an advertising and promotions design team at one of Condé Nast's premiere publications. Previously, Bret headed a small team of editorial designers at Weldon Owen Publishing creating design-intensive visual reference books. He also devoted several years to creating work for non-profit organizations including the Natural Resources Defense Council, International Fund for Animal Welfare and Rainforest Action Network.

In addition to his professional design work (and to nourish it), Bret maintains an active painting practice in his DUMBO, Brooklyn studio.

Bret teaches in the MS Communications Design Program.
