Pratt Press
Pratt Press and Graduate Communications Design
Pratt Institute Press began in 2013 with the publication of a series of books comprised of graduate student writing and design projects. These publications are made possible by the generous financial support of the Hilson Family Fund.

“Five Conversations on Graphic Design and Creative Writing” is about the relationship of creative writing to design practice, and “Transform-Action” attempts to define strategies that utilize design as a means to transform the behaviors of individuals in desirable and sustainable ways. Two books highlight the work from graduate student workshops conducted by the design practice Sonnenzimmer and art & design collective The Post Family—both based in Chicago.
